Palladio...offers the well-known, highly respected Holsteiner bloodline of CalettoI, seldom seen in the US...and never before offered in a colored stallion.

Palladio's pedigree combines an exciting blend of the best Holsteiner, Dutch, Thoroughbred, Selle Francais, Anglo-Arab, and Shagya bloodlines available worldwide and includes such greats as Caletto I, Cor de la Bryere, Consul, Cottage Son xx, Lurioso, Samber, Relic xx, L Ronald and G Ramiro Z.

Sired by the top International Grand Prix Jumper Caletto I, Palladio inherited fabulous jumping technique and scopey ability. Palladio's damside shows a well decorated ELITE KWPN mare that also has earned her SPORT designation for her performance in Dressage.

In 2002 Palladio started his show career by winning the only USDF Materiale class that he entered with a wonderful score of 76.3%, while ridden by his amateur owner. His second and final dressage show of the year he was Champion Stallion of the show and won the Cosequin/USDF Northwest Series Finals for Mature Stallions. Over fences, Palladio debuted in his first jumper class in 2002 by placing 2nd in a large class of schooling jumpers while also being shown in the hunter ring by his amateur owner.

Palladio continued to accel in his jumping career in 2003 with both first and second place finishes in Level 5/Preliminary jumpers as well as a fifth place finish in his first ever Mini-Prix.

Palladio's first foals arrived in 2002 and exceeded all expectations. His filly Porcelain CF was Premium foal and Res Champ filly at her ISR/OLDNA inspection, was 2002 Weanling Hunter Filly Champion with NWSHBA, and won the ISR/OLDNA class at the NWSHBA breeders show. All the Palladio foals that were presented to RPSI were scored either Gold or Siver premium with breeders raving about their wonderful personalities.

The Palladio foal from this auction breeding is eligible for papers with Rhineland Pfalz-Saar or ISR/Oldenburg NA. All Palladio foals are eligible for nomination with IHF and IJF and may also be registered with the International Registry of Color.
